The companies have taken one step forward to giving their employees a desirable workplace. These companies know that offices are more than just four walls, a bunch of desks, laptops and an instant-coffee machine.
An office should be like your second home because that’s the place where you spend most of your day. It should be a place where you hang out with friends, where you feel motivated and becoming more creative. In other words, a place where you get to be the best you!
Cool offices like these show that the company culture cares for their employees. And who wouldn’t like that?
So check out these 20 offices that are some of the world’s best designed and most awe-inspiring!
At the Upwalk we talk about how to reach our goals, how we get motivated to move forward, things we do to become successful and the paths we choose to get where we want. In Chinese astrology, 2012 is the year of the Dragon, and so today, in celebration of this year The Upwalk is happy to present a well-known person that put every single part of his body into becoming the greatest he could be and who has set the path for so many others.
Bruce Lee was a master of his art and became that master because he also mastered discipline and determination. When watching the documentary I Am Bruce Lee it is hard not to get inspired and motivated to find the glow within oneself to become that ultimate person one can be.
We’ll leave you with a quote and links to his life documentary for you to interpret your own inspiration from the Dragon Warrior, Bruce Lee.
“A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.”
– Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee’s daughter, Linda Lee Cadwell, talks about the I Am Bruce Lee production here:

Thinking about building your elevator pitch but just can’t get the perfect words and content in place?
Harvard Business School (HBS) Alumni has created an Elevator Pitch Builder that guides and helps you in formulating your Elevator Pitch.
Check out HBS Elevator Pitch Builder.
Why an Elevator Pitch?
An Elevator Pitch does not only help the employer get the most important characteristics and what really matters about you presented to them in a short minute, but it also gives You a better understanding of Your own focus and goals. When you are sure about what you want, what you are good at and what your goals are you will become more confident and that confidence will shine through to the person you are presenting yourself to.
Try the HBS Elevator Pitch Builder and see if it helps you get the perfect Elevator Pitch in place. Feel free to share your result in the comments field!
In my three year short career, I have been lucky enough to already have had two female managers, who radiate confidence, professionalism and authority, and who have inspired me to someday become a great female leader just like them.
Sheryl Sandberg, COO at Facebook, spoke at TED about Why we have too few female leaders. If you are a female tip-toeing at the start of your career I hope you, especially, find inspiration in this speach.
You can be the future female leader, it doesn’t matter which path you take to get there as long as you believe in yourself and show the people around you that you believe it.

Are you in the thoughts of getting an Internship? Go for it! Taking an Internship are great in many ways. You’re expanding your experience on the field and actually get to see how things work in the “real” life, simply putting theory into practise. If you are willing to see the world but don’t really want to leave “home” forever, this is a great opportunity of combinding them both. See the world for the while, mixing business with pleasure.
Before accepting an Internship there are a few things to think about though. Intern Queen had their Campus Ambassador Kristi Atkinson from the University of Idaho guest blog about the top 5 things to consider before accepting an Internship.
If you are looking for internships in the Unites States and still haven’t visited Intern Queen you should definitely click into http://www.internqueen.com right away!
Lauren Berger is the founder of Intern Queen – she is a great inspiration herself – check out her speach about how she became the “Intern Queen” and the importance of getting an Internship.
